Join us May 22-26 for the world premiere of Snake's Riddle
After a crash landing in the desert, an unusual group of misplaced performers starts to prepare a piece on the world's creation. Featuring a friendly God, lonely musicians, Liliths, Adams, Eves, and a multiplying & shape shifting Snake, it does not take long before the journey takes stranger turns. Reality and imagination, science and mythos become entangled in a riddle of creation, gods, demons and the human story. Commented and edited by the Snake of original sin.
This multi-media concert performance ride is inspired by Genesis 1-3, Eve, the apple, and a missing Lilith.
Snake’s Riddle follows Moving Poets' unique format of highly creative, cross-pollinated contemporary story telling - with a satirical edge and no fear of the absurd. It is created and performed by 30 local, national and international artists, including dancers, actors, musicians*, singers and visual artists.
*Live original music of Snakes and Riddles starts 30 minutes before curtain and continues after the show.
